It's been my experience that there's always a better board version for the
future...it's the nature of thinking persons to keep on creating...Version
1.0, Ver. 1.1, Ver. 1.2, Ver. 2...etc. Maybe it would be a good idea to
realize that's the nature of the beast and to both "modularize" with that in
mind, and, stand back and scope this sort of think out a bit. Now's the time
to do that, not later.
Surely a design could be implemented...from both the construction and
implementation side...that would have some foresight into later evolution.
I'm not sure what that might be, since I'm neither an electronics specialist
or a technical EEG whiz. Such things as the interfaces with the outside
world (computer, sensors-electrodes, packaging, etc.) could be thought about
and brainstormed in advance, and the results rolled into the architecture.
And, alas, as is the nature with technos...we're always gonna be leaping
over ourselves with "better" stuff. Thinking some of these things through in
advance can extend the life of products before the "newer-better" teases us
into the future. And, it's easier on the wallet too.

I'd go for it if the price is moderate and if you guys are sure
that it won't be obsolete after a short time due to optimization
of the hardware layout.
btw.: I'm new to this group. Hi, everybody! ;-)
I highly appreciate what you're doing and I think this is a really
interesting project.
regards,
Oli
