I agree Eric. We need to come up with something so we can register
the name and get the site up and running. There hasn't been much
discussion just recently (including from me) and we need to get it
done soon.

All very good points. I don't think anyone could argue that having
one name is the best way to go. Whatever we name the product should
be the same as the site.

I also agree that a non-techincal sounding name would be best. Also I
think we need to keep in mind that we are not SELLING a product, we
are giving away a design. Is that not correct? With that in mind, I
think we need to think in terms of names that bring to mind plans and
designs for the machines, not a machine itself.
One other thing that occurs to me is that we are already using the
name "buildcheapeeg" for our group. Maybe we should consider that our
official name and also make that our domain. the "build" part of it
expresses the fact that it has design(s) and not necessarily product,
the "cheap" says it's inexpensive.

Sounds great. Hopefully we can get the site in working order while it
is still fresh in their reader's minds.

TO EVERYONE:
I took the liberty of setting up a poll on yahoo groups for voting on
a group/domain name. I tried to find all the names that everyone came
up with, but I may have missed some, let me know if I missed any
somewhere or if anyone gets anymore ideas and I will add it. I am
setting it up so there is no time limit for when the voting ends, and
you can change your vote at any time (until I close it). if anyone
isn't sure how to get to the voting, email the list and I'll post
instructions.
