Thanks for setting up the poll lucas. Please, everyone with a serious
interest in this project, vote for a name!

I was under the impression (maybe totally false) that we are not just
giving away the design, but getting the hardware manufactured by a 3rd
party as well. I seem to remember that this group was started when
yaniv questioned the price of the brainmaster on their mailing list.
The issue was that the design for the brainmaster was free and would
cost $200 to build, but the pre-built hardware was $1000. I therefore
assume that this project is about actually _creating_ cheap hardware
rather than just a design, so you don't need to be an engineer to put
it together (but not really "selling" as that implies making a
profit). Anyway, I may be wrong, and somebody please point it out if
I am!

If we are actually getting the eeg manufactured, I think whatever name
we pick should be suitable for a piece of hardware rather than just a
design. I do wonder about the use of the term "eeg" in the name,
because it's quite clumsy to pronounce ("Mom, I'm just going on the
build-cheap-ee-ee-gee"). Anybody have any thoughts on this? My
favourite name is "Thoughtstream", already in use by Lifetools ltd,
but maybe something similar would be a good idea?

Regards

Eric
