Not EMG as in E-magnetic, but "myo" ... however, one has to
realize that :
Teeth are fairly good insulators, and when they grind against
each others, they generate voltages, as well, the amalgams in
the teeth produce contact potentials, that exceed the cell
membrane/nerve potentials of 120 mV, by far, reaching up to
over 1000 mullivolts in a mouth with both gold and amalgams.
Perhaps some of the voltage can come from the muscles, too, but
is not the only source or not the highest voltage source, in
most of the dental-filling containing mouths.

Yes, that is exactly why offered a solution for it. Could be
