Actually, there are several open source bluetooth protocol stacks
for Linux. Affix, AXIS OpenBT and BlueZ are the ones I know of. I
don't know how complete or how portable any of these are though
but at least they could be used as references when making a new
implementation.
I don't think it's worth the effort doing this now though, the
bluetooth technology should probably evolve a bit more first.
Did you know that Ericssons BLIP (a bluetooth access point)
cannot (or at least, could not) communicate with Ericssons
own bluetooth capable phones.. :-)
