I don't believe anyone here meant that it would instantly make someone enlightened, just help someone find a state of mind that could help lead to enlightenment. Enlightenment is a state of mind, wisdom, and knowledge. Mirroring brainwaves would only directly help with the first. But with time and practice could help someone gain the other two. The keyword here is 'help'.
I think, at least in some cases, it could be dangerous. You wouldn't want to train someone this way who believes in nothing. It could work as a shortcut to things that often come with enlightenment (i.e. emapthic ability, visions, etc), but they would not have the necessary discipline to deal with it. Even someone who is not as enlightened as they think, could be unable tohandle it.
This is the way I see it.
discipline, meditation, learning --> enlightenment --> visions, supernatural abilities, etc
I think it is possible to skip the middle step (I have seen and heard of many who seemed to have done this to a great degree), but it's probably not agood idea.
If anyone were to try to do this, I would suggest to go at it cautiously, and always keep in mind that what we know is insgnificant to what we do not know.

P.s
Do you think an enligthed man has a
special brain pattern witch can be imi-
tated by normal man, and at that moment they are enligthened ???
Is the special brain pattern a result of the fact that this man is enligthened, or
is being enlighted a result of brain patern ?.
You realy think by having the same brain
patern you would be enlighted ?.
so from that moment on you have a form
of higher conciousness ?.
I think this is not the case, but if it would
be that simpel, the world would be a different place.

Hi,
Does anyone know where to find info about brainwave patterns from
enlightened people?
Is it different from normal people? If different, then we could find the
right biofeedback practice to achieve that state. If EEG can not find the
difference, what can?
